Dear First Grade Parents,

Yes! You are now the proud parents of a first grade student. As a team, we would like to welcome you to first grade at Oak School.

Every student needs to bring:

• 24 count Crayola Crayons
• 20 Elmer’s Washable Gel School Glue Sticks (.28 ounces)
  (Please do not substitute these items with any other brand or size.)
• 1 box of Kleenex
• $15 cash or check made out to the “First Grade Fund” for our extra First Grade celebration needs, which include the Clifford Party and the China Day Festivities.

We would like each child to have a backpack that they bring to school everyday to transport their school materials to and from home.

Office Depot, Target, and Wal-Mart all carry these brands. During the first week of school we will be sending home a list of additional supplies that would be appreciated in the classroom.

We are looking forward to working with your child next year and wish you a safe and fun-filled summer.
