Every year Oak participates in the annual LASD STEM Challenge and hosts a STEM Expo for students to display their projects. This is an exciting opportunity for students to stretch an idea for a typical science fair project into a project with a STEM focus.
There are 6 categories of projects from which to choose:
- Reverse Engineering
- Invention
- Rube Goldberg
- Wearable Design/Wearable Technology
- Robotics
- Scientific Inquiry/Research (like a "typical" science fair or research project)
