Oak Elementary School

LASD is one of the top-ranked school districts in California, however public funds and local taxes fall short of covering LASD’s budget. The PTA, along with LAEF, help to bridge this funding gap for Oak Elementary.

PTA donations and volunteer hours support our STEM lab equipment and supplies, art and music programs, classroom libraries, our school's technology goals, our robotics program, school supplies, teacher and staff professional development, community-building events, field trip transportation and so much more.

The Oak Elementary PTA is a 501c(3) non-profit, charitable organization and our tax ID number is 95-6207647. Your donation may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

We ask that you begin here, at the LASD Education Parters website. Here you will be asked to donate to LAEF first, then to the Oak Elementary PTA.

You can also make a donation to the Oak Elementary PTA using one of the following methods:

An easy way to increase your gift to the PTA is by utilizing employee giving programs, a benefit offered by many local employers where donations made by their employees to qualified nonprofit organizations are matched. Some companies also have volunteer grant programs that provide financial contributions to organizations where employees volunteer their time.

Here are two simple steps to increase your support for the Oak Elementary PTA:

1. Use LAEF's corporate match tool to see if your employer offers a corporate matching benefit.

2. If yes, use your company's portal to apply (this is usually a company specific portal that is hosted by Benevity or BrightFunds). You will need Oak’s PTA information below to fill out the form as well as copy of your donation receipt from the PTA if you have already made your donation (don’t hesitate to ask for another copy if you need one!). It's typically a quick five-minute process, a straightforward way to boost your donation to our school without extra money from your own pocket!
