    • We are a parent-led volunteer non-profit organization that build connections between teachers, school staff, students, parents, neighbors and the wider community to support our students.

    • Oak Avenue PTA is a 501 (c)(3) organization that leverages donations & fundraising to support Oak students and enhance the community experience: providing teacher stipends, classroom support, field trip bus transportation, teacher & staff appreciation, student & family activities and other beloved community traditions
    • We organize volunteers to support Oak students throughout the year.  Learn more about volunteering.

  • Your donation to the Oak Avenue PTA works to support our students, teachers and community in many ways including supporting –

    • Anyone in the Oak community can join a PTA association meeting in person (in the Oak Multi) or online (via Zoom).  Upcoming meetings are included on Oak Master Calendar.
    • Only PTA members can vote.  If you are not a member please consider joining.  To join click here to sign up and pay the annual dues of $20 via Classroom Parent.
    • PTA Executive meetings are for members of the PTA Executive Board only (see below). If you are interested in joining the board, please contact us.

    Volunteer


    Join a meeting

    • All reimbursements and check requests are handled by the PTA Treasurer.
    • Please complete a blank PTA Check Request Form. If you are printing the form, use landscape format.
    • Submit the completed Check Request Form with supporting documentation (e.g., an itemized invoice or original receipt) as instructed on the form. The credit card authorization for the total expenditure or a copy of a credit card statement does NOT provide sufficient documentation for reimbursement. 
    • Check requests will be processed every two weeks. (Requests over $500 must be reviewed by the President and then submitted to the Treasurer).
    • Signed checks will be mailed to the recipient unless otherwise requested.
    • Don’t delay in submitting your reimbursement requests! The due date for all requests for reimbursement is 60 days.
