New LASD Volunteer Process

Good afternoon Cougar Families,

For those interested in beginning the process to becoming a volunteer within the Los Altos School District, please visit the link here to determine which level you want to begin. https://www.lasdschools.org/volunteer

For parents who began this process at the end of last school year, you still need to fill out the Level One volunteer form and TB test. They were not available last year when you began the process.

LEVEL ONE VOLUNTEER FORMS:
  1. The CDPH TB Risk Assessment forms can be found here.
  • If no TB risk factors are identified, submit your signed form (page 4) to be cleared to volunteer.
  • If TB risk factors are identified by the health care provider, the volunteer must undergo appropriate TB testing prior to being cleared. Submit a negative TB test result to be cleared to volunteer.
  1. Please access the Volunteer Authorization Form here.

LEVEL TWO

LEVEL TWO & THREE
Mandated Reporter Training
Level 2 and Level 3 volunteers must complete Keenan Mandated Reporter Training annually. The online course, including the assessment, takes less than one hour. Questions? Visit their
volunteer webpage here or reach out to the school office. This is an example of a sentence to begin a paragraph.
