Rally Day on Wednesday - Wear School Colors!

Dear Oak Community,

As we start our second full week of school, I’m excited to be settling into the routine and looking forward to a great year.  You may have heard about our LASD Education Partners, and many have supported Oak already through donations and volunteer time.  

To keep the momentum going, all nine LASD schools are marking Wednesday, August 26 as Rally Day.  On this day, we’re asking students to wear their school colors, and throughout the week we’ll be asking ALL families to support Oak through a financial donation to the LASD Education Partners, LAEF and PTA.  

Unfortunately, public funding isn’t sufficient to provide the education we want for our LASD students. This year, LAEF and our PTAs combined are working towards a cumulative fundraising goal of approximately $5 million dollars to fill the gap in funding!
